Storyline

Chance has driven the solitary figure of Barthelemy to the well-kept provincial house where Emma awaits the return of her vet husband for a private celebration of New Year's Eve. At once attracted to each other, with the help of wine and Emma's husband failing to show up, they become conscious of the growing feeling of intimacy that will bear them through the night.
